Joey Fry met his bandmates Michael Patitucci (bass), Noah Alsamman (guitar), and Connor Scott (drums) in middle school, where the four bonded over their love for classic rock like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. By high school, Joey found a passion for writing music and recorded his debut song in 2020, “Superstargirl”. His first EP–Demos–was released less than a year later, with Michael and Connor joining Joey for live performances. Joey released his first full-length album the following year before taking a three-year creative hiatus. The group reunited in 2025, with Noah Alsamman joining the now-official lineup that is ripjoeyfry. 

After his hiatus, Joey moved away from his classic indie roots to produce the 60s Rock-inspired You Don’t Know Joe. The band brings an electric indie sound with a rockabilly undercurrent to their live shows at staple Orlando venues.
